At PrimeBase, we respect your right to control your data. This page explains how you can request the deletion of your account and what happens to your data when you do.

How to Request Account Deletion
You can request account deletion directly from within the PrimeBase application. Follow these steps:
Mobile App (iOS/Android)
- Open the PrimeBase mobile app
- Navigate to Settings (from the main menu)
- Scroll to the Account section
- Tap on Delete Account
- Review the information about account deletion
- Tap Continue to proceed
- Type DELETE in the confirmation field
- Tap Delete Account to confirm
Web App
- Log in to PrimeBase at app.primebase.io
- Click on your profile icon or navigate to Profile
- Scroll to the Account Settings section
- Click on Delete Account
- Review the information about account deletion
- Click Continue to proceed
- Type DELETE in the confirmation field
- Click Delete Account to confirm
What Happens When You Delete Your Account
When you request account deletion, the following occurs:
- Your account is immediately deactivated and you will be signed out
- Your user profile is marked for deletion (soft-deleted)
- Your membership in all organizations is removed
- If you are the sole member of any organization, that organization is also scheduled for deletion
- All your business data (customers, vendors, projects, appointments, financial records, etc.) associated with your account is scheduled for deletion
- You will not be able to access the PrimeBase platform with your account
What Data is Deleted
The following data is deleted when you request account deletion:
- User Profile Data: Your name, email address, profile information, and account settings
- Organization Memberships: All records of your membership in organizations (tenant_users records)
- Single-User Organizations: Any organizations where you are the owner and sole member
- Business Data: All data you created or uploaded, including:
- Customer records and contact information
- Vendor information
- Project data and documents
- Appointments and calendar entries
- Financial records, invoices, and transactions
- Inventory data
- Files and documents you uploaded
- Any other business data associated with your account
Note: If you are a member of an organization with other active members, your data within that organization may remain accessible to other members, but your personal account and access will be removed.
30-Day Recovery Period
We understand that account deletion is a significant decision. To protect you from accidental deletions, we provide a 30-day recovery period:
- Your account and all associated data are retained for 30 days after deletion is requested
- During this period, you can recover your account by simply logging in again
- When you log in during the recovery period, you will see an option to restore your account
- All your data, organizations, and access will be fully restored
- After 30 days, the deletion becomes permanent and your data cannot be recovered
Important: If you change your mind within 30 days, simply log in to your account and follow the recovery prompts. No additional action is required from our support team.
Conditions and Restrictions
Before you can delete your account, you must meet the following conditions:
- Organization Ownership: If you own any organizations that have other active members, you must transfer ownership to another member before you can delete your account. This ensures that organizations with multiple members continue to function properly.
- Single-User Organizations: If you are the sole member of an organization, that organization will be automatically scheduled for deletion along with your account and can be recovered within the same 30-day period.
Note: If you attempt to delete your account while owning organizations with other members, you will receive an error message with instructions on how to transfer ownership. Once ownership is transferred, you can proceed with account deletion.
Additional Information
Data Security: All data deletion is performed securely and in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Data Security Statement.
Legal Requirements: We may retain certain information as required by law, regulation, or for legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention). However, your account will remain deactivated and inaccessible.
Third-Party Services: If you have connected third-party services to your PrimeBase account, you may need to revoke access separately through those services.
